Who I Am

I hold a BS in Physics with a minor in Mathematics from Penn State University; I am also an IFR-certified private pilot through PennWest Edinboro (formerly Edinboro University). I carry a 120-hour professional certification through the TEFL Org in teaching English to non-native speakers as well as an advanced rating in business English.

Beyond freelancing, I have worked in academia as a writer, presenter, and publication analyst in domains relating to solar cell fabrication, machine learning, materials science, manufacturing, and optimization; in education as a teaching assistant in laboratories and classrooms; and in journalism as an editor and science writer for a university-run print publication. My undergraduate research involved areas of astronomy, astrophysics, photoelectrics, molecular superconductivity, computational physics, and complex analysis.

I am based in Erie, Pennsylvania, and am also a hobbyist storywriter and digital artist.
