In most cases, prices are calculated based on word count, type of manuscript, and services you need. Fiction, simple nonfiction, and small web pages are charged lowest, followed by larger web, blog, and business projects, with academic, educational, and technical manuscripts at the high end. I will always provide a quote before any agreement is made.

The following are estimates assuming a standard of 250 words per page. Lower and higher total costs are possible. Expect your quote to vary according to project type, complexity, rate adjustment, and combination of services selected. Pricing runs from base services (proofreading, formatting) up to more involved services (line editing, developmental editing at the sentence level). All prices are in USD.

Payments are conducted via Venmo or PayPal prior to final delivery. If you are unable to make a payment through either of these, inform me as soon as possible so we can arrange an alternative payment method.

For most services, such as line editing, copyediting, formatting, proofreading, and indexing, I offer prospective clients an unpaid set of sample edits as well as an overall 50% discount on the first ten pages (up to half the total manuscript length).

Depending on the service and manuscript length, completion may take as little as a working day; more involved work can take multiple days or more. In cases where a job is time-intensive, clients are kept up-to-date on a weekly or semi-weekly basis. While I do not supply a guaranteed time frame for fulfilment under most circumstances, I encourage you to notify me if you require a job to meet a specified time constraint so that I can accommodate you.
